The ITA own and operate the three tunnels between Wallsend and Jarrow at NE28 0PD, these are the Vehicle- Pedestrian- and Cyclist Tunnels.

The Pedestrian and Cyclist Tunnels are free.
All three tunnels are open 24 hours per day and available every day of the year.
